This bot edits the page Main page/Historic events on a daily basis to select an event for inclusion on the Main Page. The historic events page is entirely enclosed in <noinclude></noinclude> tags, however one line of the content (one historic event) is preceded by a </noinclude> tag and immediately followed by a <noinclude> tag. The result is that that selected line is the only content on the page that is transcluded anywhere. The Main Page transcludes the Historic events page into it so the selected Historic event appears on the Main Page. The result is that each day a different event is highlighted on the Main Page.
